Who Might Benefit From Our Personal Fiduciary Services?
At VanNess & VanNess, P.A., we fully understand that our clients’ needs are as unique as the clients themselves. As a result of many years working for our clients, we have come to realize that, on occasion, a client is going to ask us to represent him or her not only as an attorney, but also as a trusted fiduciary. As a family group of attorneys, we can provide personal fiduciary services to fulfill the critical needs of a select few clients.
Before we consider a client’s request that one of our attorneys at VanNess & VanNess, P.A., act as personal fiduciary, the client must first consider family members, banks and brokerage firms with trust departments and/or affiliated trust companies, accountants, stand-alone trust companies, lawyers, friends or others capable of serving in a fiduciary capacity. If the individual determines at that point that none of those options is workable, the client can request the services of one of our attorneys. Fiduciary services may include acting as trustee, personal representative, power of attorney or health care surrogate. We do not actively seek these appointments, but will occasionally accept such appointments, if appropriate.
When you need someone you can trust and there is no one else available or more appropriate, look no further than the family of attorneys at VanNess & VanNess, P.A., to act as your personal fiduciary. Allow our family of attorneys to be there for you and your family — especially at those times when integrity, reliability and honesty are of paramount importance. Experience the positive results of receiving truly personalized fiduciary services from attorneys who genuinely care about you. The attorneys at VanNess & VanNess, P.A., believe the most important part of being a personal fiduciary is the focus on “personal.” We will remain sensitive to your ongoing and future needs. Personal Fiduciary Services And You
Two important preconditions must be met before our attorneys agree to serve in the capacity of a personal fiduciary. First, as mentioned above, a client must fully consider all others who might serve in the role. Second, a client must completely understand the fees associated with the services provided by a personal fiduciary. Under the limitations of Florida law, our attorneys qualify to act as personal fiduciaries because they are residents of Florida — but there is much more to the relationship between a client and a personal fiduciary than the state in which they live. Every client’s situation is different, and the compassion, sensitivity and personal fiduciary services performed for each client are tailored to the client’s own, unique needs.
VanNess & VanNess, P.A., is an established, boutique law firm that provides an invaluable service to those relatively few clients choosing to appoint our attorneys as trustees, personal representatives, powers of attorney and health care surrogates, if and when appropriate. Our accomplished attorneys understand the individual characteristics and personalities of each of our clients. We have learned throughout our 27-year history of actively providing personal fiduciary services that our firm is uniquely situated to provide personal fiduciary services to our clients and that clients greatly appreciate those services.
Our attorneys always act professionally and are entrusted with meeting or surpassing all relevant standards of performance while representing the best interests of the clients who rely on them. You will find that our personalized knowledge of a client’s needs, along with the appropriate application of services for each client, are what set the attorneys and staff at VanNess & VanNess, P.A., apart.
